What are vibratory conveyors and how do they work?
Vibratory conveyors are extremely durable systems that use vibration and gravity to convey materials along a production line. They create extremely fast (often subtle) vibrations, guiding material at continuous speed in a desired direction. They can be manufactured to transport a variety of goods, from delicate food products to dry bulk products such as gravel. Only the minimal amount of force is exerted to move these products, eliminating any potential cause for damage.
Driver Southall’s conveyors are designed to run quietly with low power consumption. They are designed with ease of maintenance in mind and therefore offer incredible reliability.
The vibrating action is achieved with either electro-magnetic units or with specially designed hydraulic impulse units (if moving large weights is required).
The gentle vibrating action eliminates product damage.
All conveyors are of bespoke design to customer’s specification and product requirements.
